Moviescramble- Ep 110 : The Translators (Les Traducteurs)
Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
The Translators, original title Les Traducteurs) played at a number of film festivals in 2020 and then failed to get a distribution deal, condemning it to a life in release limbo. It is still not possible to see it on any streaming platform or VOD service. We recorded a podcast covering the film in 2021 as we both enjoyed it at festival screenings and in the assumption that the film would be made available at some point. As this has not happened after five years, we have decided to release the pod. It is a great film and a pretty decent pod review, albeit with a couple of dated references.
Anyway, enjoy the pod, and hopefully you will be able to catch the movie at some point.
